Give A Presentation - Practice

When you give a presentation you are effectively performing. Actors when they are in a play will rehearse. In the same way practice is important to giving a presentation.

Practising can be boring, but it builds both confidence and competence in the ability to give a presentation. It helps with timing and identifying parts of the presentation that don't work. Practice in front of family and friends to get used to giving the presentation in front of an audience.

If you can practice your presentation in the room you are to give the presentation. It will help to lower your stress level being familiar with the actual circumstances. It also gives a good opportunity to check out the audio visualequipment and solve any issues.
