Give A Presentation

The moment you are to give your presentation has arrived. You have carefully prepared, thoroughly practiced and have your nerves under control.

Here are 4 effective tips to help you give an effective presentation:

1. Make eye contact with your audience. Look into their faces and maintain eye contact with them for short period until moving on.

2. Glance at your notes briefly as required, but don't get glued them or read them aloud. It makes it difficult to engage with the audience.

3. Keep a track of time. It is rude to go over. Leave some flexibility in your presentation to cut if you are running over time, or ask the audience or the organizer if you can carry on.

4. Don't stand still, move and gesture naturally as you would in conversation.

The ability to give an effective presentation comes from doing it. The more you give presentations the better you will become.
